If you like lamps and have a thing for DIY home decor projects, you’re going to love today’s inspirational post. We are looking at 22 old things that can be upcycled into awesome DIY lamps that will add personality and coolness to any room in your home. Sure, when it comes to old and outdated materials, you might need to spend some time cleaning them up and making sure they look nice, but in all fairness, making a new lamp using something old as a base can be an easy and fast project to do yourself. You can even get the kids involved for some of the easiest steps of your project.
Check out this tutorial on how to make a lamp using anything as a base. Step by step instructions and list of supplies are included.
The following lamps prove that you can make a unique DIY lamp by putting to good use old items that have been collecting dust in your attic or garage. Yes, some of you might call that... junk. But at the end of the day, even junk can be upcycled into a beautiful new lighting fixture. Oh, and the best thing? No two lamps will look the same. So if you’re thinking of throwing some of the items on the list below, stop right there. Take a look and if you try (or tried) some of them out, we’d love to hear your story.
